Happy birthday John!

He's adapted to being five so well already, it's crazy to think his birthday was just ten days ago! He had a pretty great day even though he woke up with a fever. We made party hats, opened presents, talked to all the family, took naps, played with toys, ate cake...pretty good day!

I was trying to take a picture of John underneath his banner but the natives were uncooperative.

John asked for a Mars cake, then changed his mind and asked for a Uranus cake, which I would have been happy to make. But he ultimately decided on yellow lemon cake that looks like a lemon. Yum!
