Class Pictures

John and Edie's Daycare had a professional photographer come in and she did a phenomenal job! When we got a preview of the images we knew we had to get them all. She even got pictures of them together!

Edie with the Alfalfa:

John with his devilish grin....definitely hiding his inner imp!

And finally the combos. A pumpkin or two for everyone!

English as she is spoke

By John, of course.

Tornados = tomatoes
Unicorn = acorn
Biskie = frisbee
Watermelon = lemonade
Pewmer = water gun
Nilk = milk
Truck = milk (old usage)
Lunch = snack
Opameal = oatmeal
Swammiches = sandwiches
Mentcemixer = cement mixer
Haroldhelicoptopter = helicopter
Charlick = Charlotte
And don't forget his new favorite song, Mary had a little man, his flea was bicycle.
Finally, any noun can be substituted by "poop" at any time.

Lots of pictures left to finish out the summer! These are not in chronological order. Let's begin with Oscar, riding his majestic steed.

And we move on to Spitoono, which was all we hoped it would be. Uncle Mark and Charlotte joined us. We all tried boiled peanuts and found them surprisingly tasty and an entirely new flavor for peanuts!

That small sign on the truck says "RD 18 UP THE ROAD FROM CENTRAL WALMART"

The daycare had "Family Fun Day" at the end of August, with John's favorite vehicle the catbus, and second-favorite, the fire truck. But John didn't get to enjoy them like he should, because he was a little sick, as was Oscar, and all of us.

Edie is figuring out cabinets, and climbing inside them, but not climbing back out again. That is a separate skill.

You may have spotted from up above, we had some visitors! Here are Gramma and Pop-pop with all their grandchildren! I hope next visit we're all feeling well and get to explore some new sights, like the lake.

Eric and I did get to set up the loom while the boys were at the movies. A new project is almost ready to commence!

Oscar has started kindergarten and after-care at the Rec center. He's having a pretty good time with both! We drop Oscar off in the morning so he doesn't have to get picked up before 7am, and the traffic patterns are just unreal because so many parents have the same idea. Here are John and Oscar exploring the playground at the elementary school.

John was very proud of his car.

The local fauna continue to amaze. The "Southern devil" is our local scorpion, which we first found in our bedroom! and then found in a spiderweb by the front door. Yay spiders!
