And we move on to Spitoono, which was all we hoped it would be. Uncle Mark and Charlotte joined us. We all tried boiled peanuts and found them surprisingly tasty and an entirely new flavor for peanuts!

The daycare had "Family Fun Day" at the end of August, with John's favorite vehicle the catbus, and second-favorite, the fire truck. But John didn't get to enjoy them like he should, because he was a little sick, as was Oscar, and all of us.
Edie is figuring out cabinets, and climbing inside them, but not climbing back out again. That is a separate skill.
You may have spotted from up above, we had some visitors! Here are Gramma and Pop-pop with all their grandchildren! I hope next visit we're all feeling well and get to explore some new sights, like the lake.
Eric and I did get to set up the loom while the boys were at the movies. A new project is almost ready to commence!
Oscar has started kindergarten and after-care at the Rec center. He's having a pretty good time with both! We drop Oscar off in the morning so he doesn't have to get picked up before 7am, and the traffic patterns are just unreal because so many parents have the same idea. Here are John and Oscar exploring the playground at the elementary school.
John was very proud of his car.
The local fauna continue to amaze. The "Southern devil" is our local scorpion, which we first found in our bedroom! and then found in a spiderweb by the front door. Yay spiders!
