Have you ever considered the pacifier?

 I mean, really considered it. Deeply. Persistently. Not only as an object in itself, but also in relation to your mouth - and fingers - and the whole hand - and then your mother's hand.

If you look hard enough, you can find the whole universe in the pacifier.
