The evidence:
He is short of stature.
His feet are disproportionately large.
He loves staying in.
He loves shiny things.
He loves dancing.
He never wears shoes.
He has long, skilfull fingers.
He has a tendency towards chubbiness.
He has little or no facial hair.
He does not understand machinery.
He delights in wearing bright colors, particularly yellow and green.
He has a great love of food and drink.
His meal schedule is the following:
5 am first breakfast
8 am second breakfast
11 am elevenses, duh
1 pm lunch
3 pm tea
5 pm dinner
8 pm supper
12 pm midnight snack
3 am - well, this seems to be a baby-only meal.
All in all, he is a simple man who lives an unadventurous, bucolic life of eating and socializing.
Conclusion: Definitely hobbit-like! However, I am not a hobbit. Therefore Eric must be full hobbit and we have produced a half-man, half-hobbit child. Thoughts?
