Pawnee National Grasslands, about thirty minutes east of Fort Collins
I was very aware that there is nowhere to hide on the grasslands. There were people with guns everywhere!

We shot all our ammunition and apparently there's a real "gun craze" going on now, so there is no ammunition to be found in any of the stores in town. The theory is that all the gun enthusiasts are worried that their favorite gun will be outlawed and they won't be able to get ammo for it any more, so they have to stock up on it now. Of course, the chance that a .22 will be outlawed is pretty low, so the gun enthusiasts are probably just being silly.
