Fahfah shishah

That's Edie's go-to when you ask her a question she doesn't want to answer.

New month, new sheets! What a cozy dormitory!

Beautiful swirl on Ben's head - a view I rarely get. Looks like a hurricane!

It's been so cold the cats have been unusually friendly to each other...

... and we've been having fires! What could be cozier than snoozing by the fire?

Edie had the best outfit on while we were hanging up the swings.

We took this late in October, but I think the spirit is still true. School is going to remain remote through the end of December, we'll see if they make it back in the spring...

Speaking of spring, Eric made a hanging pot rack for me so we can have some nice indoor plants that the cats don't eat.

I can see the abutilon blossoms now!

Edie's carrot fangs. Fahfah shishah indeed.

Oscar has gotten confident with reading aloud to his siblings. He reads loud enough that they are willing to pay attention to him.

Bleh to you too!

Edie got some new rainbow unicorn boots and they smell like strawberry lip balm. She loves smelling them, and making me take pictures of her smelling them, and making me smell them!

Whatchoo lookin at?

Ben has some very prominent tooth-like bumps on his bottom gum. I did not let him cry for several minutes while I tried to get a good picture of them...it was only one minute.

And then this happened:

The boys had excellent Minecraft costumes which Eric will have to share with you . We went on a Halloween parade around the neighborhood, and each child got a prefab bag FULL of candy, so even though there was no trick-or-treating we were all pretty satisfied. Here is miss Rainbow Unicorn herself.

And Baby Bear Ben!
