Our first day in EL.
Pictures from our first tour of Patriarch Park. This park is just down the road a bit and it is huge!
The boys really liked this giant spider to climb on.
Then it was time for hair cuts, so of course we had to do before and afters. It should all be back in time for winter.
There are some impressively black squirrels here.
What do you do with all of your moving boxes?
It was really wet for the first month we were here. The boys collected every mushroom (and one dandelion) at the local park and piled them on me...
Margaret's bee-you-tea-ful window boxes:
This friendly fellow that was sitting just outside the passenger door of the car at Edie's daycare during morning drop off.
John loves the sandbox...especially making volcanoes and getting the sand all wet. He does alone time right!
The park just down the street where the farmers market is held.
A meeting of the most outgoing neighbors. Margaret and Edie were welcomed into their ranks.
The splash park (about ten min drive away). Oscar and John are very brave now that they have been swimming everyday. Oscar's favorite is getting buckets of water auto-dumped on his head. John likes being dangerous and running full speed all over the park...
Breakfast is a perfect combo of fun, danger, and eating...especially for Edie.
We have some very large pill bugs and John has befriended them all.
Edie is getting more and more into books.
We have yard bunnies again! They eat all of the seedlings Margaret and the boys planted but it's still nice to be in a place with rabbits again.
The kids like them as well.
Some candid photos of Edie's birthday. Present opening was not Edie exclusive and Oscar and John pounced on the opportunity to play with the new goods.
Also, a little birthday pool trip at the Athletic Club to celebrate both M and E's birthdays.
We have a friendly neighborhood Mo-cat impersonator...Pocky is very interested in him.
Speaking of cats we got them this deluxe cat condo so they can chill.
