Museum of Discovery

We had a full family outing this weekend - all five of us in the same car! - to the Museum of Discovery. We'd heard about it from friends, and Oscar went there on a field trip with camp, and once we saw it we couldn't believe we hadn't been before!

It's like a classic kids museum, with large exhibits on sound and light, and a little kids area. Then there is a corner devoted to Fort Collins history, and another corner devoted to agriculture in Colorado. There is a also a wall about inventors, sponsored by WaterPik (headquartered in Fort Collins!)

John and Oscar had a wonderful time. Edie snoozed. We ate lunch in the enclosed garden out back, which had more giant musical instruments to mess with, and a thousand birds which John individually called our attention to.

Can't wait to go back! We might even become members!
