Eric is now a PhD candidate! Whoop! The exam lasted nearly four hours, but he says at the end of it he still likes all his committee members, which is indeed rare. And now he never has to do that again.
He shaved off his beard last week when he turned in his proposal, but I can't post the pictures from the ipad.
And, my first paper as a postdoc was officially accepted! I have to send them all the final figures and then it goes through proofing, but it will be open access so all y'all can read it.
