Hattifattener

This morning Oscar is a hattifattener, he says "Don't you touch me, I am spikes!" And "lectricity!"

He hasn't fallen on his face...yet.

Oscar demanded that we take a picture of John too.

Oscar's pink cake

All he asked for was pink cake, so like a fool I got strawberry cake. It tastes just like strawberry syrup. Oscar liked it ok! He especially liked it with the chocolate frosting Eric brought home when he grabbed someone else's groceries by mistake.

In case you can't tell from the picture, it is neon pink.

Oscar is three!

End of one semester, two more to go!

Eric just finished teaching for the semester! I will be done tomorrow! In one week I begin "having a real job"! The CSU semester ends next Friday!

Oscar and John are both tyrants, so there's really nothing new to report in that line. Here are Eric and Oscar, suited up for dealing with the snow. Oscar is wearing a frog hat.

And here John has helped himself to a pacifier, which normally functions as the plug in Oscar's sink. He is a rover, and has started kneeling occasionally. He also will eat cottage cheese, which Oscar never would.

John is a crawling champion these days. We went to Pop-pop and Gramma's house yesterday for Thanksgiving and he explored the whole territory. There was a great feasting, lots of snow, games, and even a little walk. Oscar held Beau's leash even!

Today I'm doing a little baking, Oscar is playing in his new "car", Eric is doing a little Black Friday shopping - apparently there's no one in the stores now that all the deals are available online.

Here Oscar has filled his pajamas with all the stuffed animals he could find, like a kawakubo model.
